Description

This course provides the practical and theoretical knowledge to:

• Evaluate pregnancy/non-pregnancy from 1 month to term, detection of twins.
• Evaluate the status of ovaries, whether animal is cycling/non-cycling, stage of cycle, detection of cysts.
• Evaluate status of womb and cervix to determine whether the cow is clean or dirty.

Being AI trained is a prerequisite for this course.

Trainees are introduced to different types of scanning machines on the market and given guidelines to chose a machine.

Training is conduct in small groups on farm under commercial scanning conditions.
